North American Construction Services (HQ: Pinson/Birmingham, AL) is hiring a full-time Financial Accountant to join our team. We are a subsidiary of Fives North American Combustion and the Fives Group, with over five decades of pioneering contributions in industrial thermal processes. Our services include designing and constructing furnaces, retrofits, upgrades, and full lifecycle maintenance on industrial equipment. We are driven by innovation and collaboration to address technological, environmental, social, and economic challenges.

Your role will include:

• Evaluating financial data
• Providing financial analysis support
• Developing reports and analyses to guide business decisions
• Managing accounts payable checks
• Assisting with workers' compensation, insurance, and audits
• Serving as ERP and HR system administrator
• Entering new employees into systems
• Maintaining payroll tax records
• Conducting job cost analysis and POC accounting
• Preparing month-end reports and reconciliations
• Budgeting and cash forecasting

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree with 5+ years of experience in a job cost environment or large-scale projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience in cash flow development and forecasting
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Sage 300 or Sage Intacct
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles
