Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the EMEA Finance team. You will review and advise on technical accounting across markets, prepare divisional reporting to the US parent, and account for centralised European Concerts division costs including budget, forecast and actuals with variance analyses.

The role reports to the Financial Reporting Director and requires strong communication, time management, and knowledge of US GAAP/SOX. 100% on-site in London.

Responsibilities

  • Head office accounting: ownership of actuals, budget and forecast (cost base c$20m).
  • Liaise with AR/AP to manage invoices and intercompany recharges.
  • Review and aggregate month-end reporting packages from European markets.
  • Review balance sheets for correct accounting treatment.
  • Prepare divisional balance sheet submissions to US head office.
  • Own divisional SOX reporting to US head office.
  • Provide feedback and support to markets.
  • Support local accounting teams.
  • Handle transfer pricing charge outs.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects.

Role Description

Joining the Live Nation EMEA Finance team as the Financial Accountant you will immediately be integrated within the reporting function reviewing and advising on technical accounting treatments in markets across the division. Working closely with senior financial employees around the world you will work to prepare divisional reporting data to the US parent and account for centralised European Concerts division costs (budget, forecasting and actuals with variance analysis).

This role reports into the Financial Reporting Director for the EMEA division of Live Nation.

The successful candidate will have an analytical background and be looking to work in a head office financial reporting environment. Strong verbal and written communications skills are required to enable effective communication with employees around the world. The successful candidate should have excellent time management skills and be able to work with minimal supervision. A working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley is an advantage.

  • Act as a key liaison with the AR/AP teams to manage invoices, oversee intercompany recharges, and coordinate netting arrangements efficiently
