Koala North West are looking for a Finance Trustee/Director to join our board

Koala North West is seeking a dedicated Finance Trustee/Director to join our Board as Treasurer and play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation.

Koala North West is a charitable organisation that looks after the emotional wellbeing of families, offering practical support and solutions to everyday parenting and childcare. Our comprehensive range of services aim to work in partnership with parents by supporting and encouraging them through the difficulties of family life. One of the key strengths of our service is our volunteer peer support model; all our volunteers receive comprehensive training to enhance their skills to support families.

In this rewarding volunteer role, you will:

  1. Safeguard financial wellbeing: Oversee financial controls, budgets, and reporting, ensuring responsible financial management.
  2. Drive strategic decision-making: Analyse financial performance, provide insights.
  3. Contribute to good governance: Collaborate with the Board to ensure effective administration and compliance.
  4. Work with a strong financial management team: Provide excellent bookkeeping and management reporting whilst implementing the financial controls approved by the board.
  5. As a Trustee of our charity and Director of our Limited Company: Work with a highly committed team of board members and senior management to further the aims of our organisation.
