Job summary

Bauer Media Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable PMO support professional to join the Transformation & Finance Excellence tribe. You will help deliver finance transformation initiatives on time, within scope and within budget, providing tools, reporting and coordination.

Working closely with the Director Finance Transformation and Excellence, you will support governance, budgeting, KPIs, and stakeholder engagement across Finance, contributing to an effective operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with project management principles and methodologies.
• Good understanding of Finance processes and business environments.
• Experience supporting change management and communications in transformation or project environments.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the Transformation & Finance Excellence tribe.
• Support the implementation of Finance best practices and contribute to the overall transformation delivery plan.
• Participate in tribe meetings and contribute to effective ways of working.
• Support the team lead in tracking the transformation roadmap, budget, KPIs, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Support planning and tracking of internal and external resources.
• Coordinate regular status reporting for the Finance Leadership Team and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate transformation governance forums and project meetings.
• Support change management activities, including stakeholder impact assessments, adoption planning, and communication.
• Promote a consistent project management approach across Finance transformation initiatives.
• Provide standard project management tools, templates, and guidance.
• Support initiative planning, including timelines, budgets, objectives, deliverables, resources, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support business cases, budget and cost tracking, and post-project reviews, with ownership remaining with the team lead.
• Provide project delivery support and data analysis as required.
