Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled, finance-qualified transformation leader to join our HSO team. As a Finance Transformation Manager, you will build relationships with customers, guiding them through their finance transformation journey from vision to strategy, overseeing design and delivery, and providing ongoing support throughout their cloud adoption.

The role involves working across three major phases:

1. Inspire and Engage: Conduct sessions to demonstrate how HSO can support finance transformation, linking process and technology changes to business and IT strategies, and establishing HSO as a trusted advisor to CFOs.
2. Strategy Definition and Architectural Design: Support engagements to transform finance functions, create board-ready project proposals, and provide ongoing advice to support business transformation and technology implementation.
3. Governance and Account Development: Support technology implementation, redesign processes, reporting, and organizational structures within client organizations.

Requirements

Experience and Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with finance leadership and key managers, guiding their transformation journey.
• Support presales activities through discussions, presentations, and demos.
• Understand Microsoft Solution Plays and align them with customer needs to deliver relevant workloads.
• Develop and advise on comprehensive finance strategies.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to build strategic client relationships.

Finance Transformation:

• Develop and articulate finance transformation strategies aligned with HSO's goals, supporting larger engagements.
• Design solutions with the Enterprise Architecture team across business and technology domains.
• Lead workshops to scope and design finance transformation and technology requirements.
• Assess client infrastructure and recommend cloud adoption strategies.
• Work independently or with the EA team to define digital strategies covering business applications and Azure stack.
• Support client engagements on finance system transformation and automation.

Client-Side Support:

• Support core finance configuration and redesign aligned with transformation strategy.
• Advise on complex finance redesign requirements and provide technical accounting advice.
• Identify optimization opportunities within finance teams and present recommendations.
• Demonstrate care, influence others, and communicate effectively.
• Work in an entrepreneurial environment, actively listening and contributing.
• Proven experience in finance departments, finance transformation, and ERP implementation.
• ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Location

This hybrid role can be based in Reading, Glasgow, Manchester, or remotely. Expect significant travel, including overnight stays near clients, offices, and other UK locations.
