Responsibilities

• Lead transformation initiatives across Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Optimise and embed global payroll processes for scalability and compliance.
• Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement in Finance Operations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs and controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT and external providers to deliver improvements.
• Support ERP and finance system enhancements to maximise effectiveness.
• Lead payroll transformation programme from design through implementation and adoption.

We're partnering with a global organisation to appoint a Finance Transformation Manager to lead the transformation of Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable operations. This is a high-impact role requiring someone with a proven track record of redesigning, implementing, and optimising payroll processes, systems, and controls. Payroll transformation experience is the key requirement for this position.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in modernising Finance Operations, embedding a recently delivered global payroll programme into business-as-usual operations, while driving wider process improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transformation initiatives across Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Optimise and embed global payroll processes, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
• Drive automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement across Finance Operations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational controls.
• Work closely with Finance, HR, IT, and external providers to deliver sustainable process improvements.
• Support ERP and finance systems enhancements, helping maximise operational effectiveness.
• Proven experience leading a Payroll Transformation programme from design through implementation and adoption.
• Strong background in Finance Operations, Shared Services, Transactional Finance, Payroll, AP, or AR.
• Demonstrable success delivering process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience operating within complex, international, multi-entity businesses.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Finance, HR, and Technology teams.
