Exciting opportunity for a Finance Compliance and Transformation Lead based at a large manufacturing site near Maidstone, Kent. The position is Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. It offers a permanent contract with excellent career prospects and benefits, including Pension, Private Medical, on-site gym, and more.

This site is part of a global recycling and packaging manufacturing group. We are seeking a versatile and proactive finance transformation and compliance lead to support a wide range of finance-related projects across two UK sites. While a strong foundation in SOX compliance is essential, the role also involves contributing to sustainability reporting and other strategic finance initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects support regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing and contributing to finance projects related to SOX compliance, sustainability reporting, and other finance transformation initiatives.
  2. Ensuring compliance with group requirements under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) within deadlines.
  3. Advising Financial Controllers on SOX improvements and potential cost implications.
  4. Harmonizing controls and processes across the two sites and managing change processes.
  5. Conducting risk and vulnerability analyses, deriving measures for process optimization, and implementing new processes and initiatives.
  6. Supporting the development and enhancement of sustainability reporting auditability.
  7. Collaborating with sustainability and business stakeholders to align projects with organizational and regulatory standards.
  8. Keeping up to date with changes in SOX regulations, sustainability standards, and other frameworks.
  9. Developing and automating financial reporting processes.
