The Finance Transformation Lead will report into the Finance Transformation Director and will support the Finance Transformation Director during the full lifecycle of the S4 HANA Finance implementation for a new greenfield/brownfield project, ensuring it meets goals and deadlines.
The Transformation Lead will lead the project within their specialist Finance area working with the MAG Change Management Project teams with accountability for scope, risk, budget and ensuring approvals are managed appropriately to meet agreed time, cost and quality standards and to deliver the business outcomes whilst responsible for maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organisation.
The Group Finance function at M.A.G are a key influencer in its growth and transformation agenda. This role will be fundamental to the development and delivery of the S4 HANA Transformation Project. The role holder should be able to challenge and influence and take a pragmatic, adaptable and at times hands-on approach to embed proactive financial partnering, strong financial understanding, financial best practice and robust financial controls across the S4 HANA Transformation Project.
We are looking for the following
Ability to demonstrate a track record of continual improvement and business transformation
Extensive professional Finance knowledge and experience/qualification within specialist area (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Understanding of financial dynamics of the business, financial systems, policies and practice relevant to enable delivery of role requirement
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a credible and confident manner at all levels in the organisation and with external stakeholders
Ability to build alliances, challenge and influence positively without formal authority
Strong systems knowledge – including of SAP implementations which would be beneficial
