A global market-leading business based in London is looking for a fluent French-speaking Finance Transformation Director to lead the strategic design and implementation of end-to-end finance transformation initiatives for France. You will work closely with senior leadership to modernize systems, streamline processes and financial controls (SOX), and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence over the financial and operational evolution of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee financial transformation initiatives, streamlining procedures and systems to increase scalability and efficiency.
2. Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionable plans for financial transformation.
3. Develop and implement new financial policies, practices, and controls.
4. Manage the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) framework.
5. Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, including documentation, control testing, and remediation of deficiencies.
6. Provide SOX compliance training to relevant teams.
7. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the financial department.
8. Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis during transitional periods to support decision-making.
9. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

1. Certified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
2. Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) due to the international scope of the role.
3. Extensive post-qualification experience in a senior finance role, with a focus on process development and transformation.
4. Practical experience in establishing and maintaining a SOX compliance framework.
5. Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls.
