We make health happen!

Working in our Group function you’ll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care not just in the UK but around the globe.

Bupa has embarked on a global transformation programme for its Finance function, called ‘Be Remarkable’, aiming to build a high-performing Finance function globally. The Finance Transformation Change and Comms Manager will play a key role in supporting the Finance leadership team to communicate this transformation programme, driving culture change and improving ways of working the Finance function around the world

How you’ll help us make health happen:

  • Build a communication plan for the programme and lead on production of engaging content - liaising with project leads, programme leadership and internal comms teams.

  • Create regular 'Be Remarkable' programme communications to share with the global finance community via townhalls and our internal social media, WorkVivo, keeping the profile of the programme high; building enduring engagement; and celebrating success.

  • Support the wider comms need of Group Finance, including maintaining the Group Finance Workvivo page, ensuring regular engaging content and managing the agenda and preparation of the Group and Global Finance Townhalls.

  • Support the Programme Director to define and embed the change methodology to support the Be Remarkable programme.

  • Build and manage key stakeholder relationships and maintain stakeholder map.

  • Monitor and manage change impact of programme across the Finance teams.

  • Deliver change management outputs such as impact assessments, change readiness assessments, project communications, training content etc.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in an internal communications role, ideally in a large and complex global organisation working with multi-national teams, delivering internal communications and change management projects on brief, on budget and on time.

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, demonstrating a flair for storytelling, an ability to put yourself into the shoes of different audiences, and an eye for detail.

  • Strong project management capability, designing and delivering detailed change and internal comms plans which achieve clear and measurable outcomes, using data to evidence success.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with an ability to flex your style depending on purpose, audience, and stakeholder.

  • An innovative and creative mindset, always looking for new and different ways to improve and strengthen what we do.

  • Understanding of business strategy and commerciality.

  • Ability to manage workload and multiple deadlines autonomously, demonstrating resilience in a fast moving and high-pressure environment, prioritising projects according to the needs of the business.

  • Leading by example as a team player with a collaborative and caring style, listening to others, providing support and being ready to get stuck into big projects.

  • Being brave and willing to challenge constructively and be challenged in return to achieve the best outcome for all parties.

  • Advocating for the strategic and tactical importance of internal communication and the appropriateness of the various tools and channels we use.
