Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Finance Transformation Associate Director to make an impact at RSM UK.

At RSM, our consulting team brings together diverse advisory experts to deliver our six core solutions: business transformation, forensic, deal services, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance.

Our solutions address the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities our clients face as they strive to achieve their aspirations and organizational goals. Whether supporting global expansion, developing acquisition strategies, facilitating private equity investments, or collaborating with boards to manage risk and governance, our consulting experts work as one cohesive team. We prioritize simplicity, providing data-driven insights, value-added assurance, and high-quality execution to empower our clients in building sustainable, future-fit businesses.

It’s an exciting time to join our consulting team, as we embark on ambitious growth plans that promise to create diverse career opportunities. We are committed to enhancing our six solutions, expanding and developing our team of expert consultants, embracing a digital-first approach, strengthening our global presence, and building strong client relationships.

You’ll make an impact by:

  1. Playing a critical role in helping our clients leverage the latest digital technologies and best practices to modernize their finance function and achieve business goals.
  2. Leading the team to deliver high-quality service for our clients.
  3. Facilitating client workshops to understand their finance operations.
  4. Identifying practical improvement initiatives to modernize finance functions and support strategic visions.
  5. Leading and managing finance transformation projects.

What we are looking for:

You should demonstrate leadership and management of finance transformation projects, a strong understanding of finance process design, and a track record of delivering value.

We value diverse experiences. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, etc.)
  • Significant PQE experience, ideally within professional services or a mix of in-house and consulting experience
  • Experience leading large-scale finance transformation projects, including process redesign, technology implementations (ERP upgrades, automation tools), and operating model redesign
  • Experience designing and implementing Finance Target Operating Models, including organizational design, service delivery, and governance frameworks
  • Deep understanding of finance processes across FP&A, R2R, P2P, and O2C
  • Confidence in leading engagements, facilitating workshops, identifying process gaps, and proposing solutions

What we can offer you:

We recognize our people as our most valuable asset. Our flexible reward and benefits package includes:

  • Hybrid and flexible working
  • 27 days holiday (plus options to purchase additional days)
  • Wellbeing benefits including financial tools, electric car schemes, and virtual GP access
  • Access to 300+ on-demand courses developed by our talent development team
