Iconic Resourcing Ltd. is partnering with a major Scottish organisation to establish a new Finance Technology & Transformation capability.

The role sits at the intersection of Finance, Technology and Data, shaping a long-term roadmap for modernising finance through intelligent technology, data, automation and AI. The Head will lead the transformation journey, building governance and delivery disciplines while working with Finance and Tech leaders to prioritise initiatives and realise meaningful

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex transformation programmes within large organisations.
• Strong understanding of modern technology, data and AI capabilities.
• Ability to connect business objectives with technology solutions.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Pragmatic approach to change, balancing innovation with governance and delivery discipline.
• Experience building roadmaps, shaping strategy and turning ambition into executable plans.
• Lived through transformation and delivered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Finance Technology, Data & AI strategy and roadmap.
• Partner with Finance Directors, Heads of Finance, Technology leaders and Data teams to identify transformation opportunities.
• Drive improvements across planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and wider finance processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine how they can solve business challenges.
• Establish governance, operating models and delivery frameworks to support sustainable transformation.
• Act as the bridge between Finance and Technology stakeholders.
• Influence investment decisions and prioritisation across a growing portfolio of initiatives.
• Build the future capability of the function, defining skills, capabilities and team structure.
