Job summary

UCL invites applications for an Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in Finance and Technology – Corporate to lead and teach at least three IFT modules starting January 2027 in areas including corporate finance, banking, valuation, financial markets and digital finance.

Responsibilities include developing teaching materials, delivering assessments and feedback, supervising MSc dissertations (10-12 students), and supporting student independent work.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and deliver high-quality teaching materials.
• Experience in supervising postgraduate dissertations or research projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for module delivery and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach at least three IFT modules in Finance and Technology – Corporate.
• Develop and maintain high-quality teaching materials and design assessments with constructive feedback.
• Supervise MSc dissertations (10–12 students) and provide guidance on proposals, literature and methodology.
• Support and encourage students to produce original, independent work.
• Deliver flexible teaching arrangements and contribute to program development.
