Job description

HFG are delighted to be representing a reputable insurance company who are eager to bring on a Finance Technician to strengthen their finance team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their career in finance, reporting to the Head of Financial Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial and administrative support to ensure accurate and timely financial processing and reporting

  • Work closely with internal teams and external clients to process claim payments and accounts payable invoices

  • Ensure payments are settled accurately

  • Assist with financial reconciliations and reporting tasks as required

  • Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Requirements:

  • Degree educated or equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Oracle)

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
