Qualifications

Responsibilities

Contract:Permanent, Full-time
Salary:£50,000 DOE
Shifts:Standard office hours with hybrid working (minimum 4 days in office)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactiveFinance Team Leaderto join our high-performing finance department. In this pivotal role, you will supervise and support the finance team, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, financial data is accurate, and reporting deadlines are met.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of operational finance tasks, provide mentorship to junior staff, and act as a point of escalation for financial queries across the business. This role offers exposure to leadership responsibilities while maintaining hands-on involvement with finance operations.


What You’ll Bring
Essential

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or working towards full qualification
  • Experience in a senior finance or team leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of Xero and financial reporting systems
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a small team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive, accountable, and detail-focused mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Desirable

  • Previous experience in healthcare or private clinic finance
  • Experience with payroll, consultant payments, stock management, and VAT reporting
  • Exposure to management accounts and KPI reporting
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify cost-saving and revenue opportunities
