Job description

As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will provide expert technical support for the organisation's Practice Management System, 3e.

This role focuses on leveraging in-depth knowledge of the database, SQL queries, OData, API querying, and XML generation to support projects and assist various departments in data extraction and ingestion. It also ensures efficient, robust, and scalable financial processes through technical expertise and best practices.

• Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems, providing technical guidance and support to the Data department, CIO, and Finance departments.
• Provide expertise in SQL queries to support understanding and data extraction/ingestion from/to financial systems.
• Utilise OData and API querying to integrate and retrieve data, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Create and manage XML generation templates for bulk data uploads, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data standards.
• Collaborate with project teams on database structure and data extraction/ingestion methods.
• Develop and maintain PowerApps solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Implement and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data models and processes.
• Identify and implement technical improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Manage system printer templates for document generation using Crystal Reports and/or 3e Templates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Facilitate understanding of finance operational processes and data reporting requirements, ensuring effective communication between finance and technical teams.

About You

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, OData, API querying, and XML schema requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data protection principles.
• Experience with system integrations and troubleshooting.
• Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
