Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright LLP is seeking an Application Support Analyst to support the EMEA finance systems, including Aderant Sierra, time, billing and reporting. You will assist finance operations and system users, delivering ongoing support and process improvements.

The role involves troubleshooting, SQL scripting, and administration of Aderant Expert, iTimekeep, and BillBlast. Strong communication with stakeholders across the business is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree educated and/or 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience with financial systems and finance operations.
• Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM frameworks.
• Experience with SQL/SSRS and ability to run queries.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide user support to application users, responding to queries from fee earners, secretaries and finance staff.
• Identify, analyse and resolve application problems and minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with third party support, IT and finance teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor and provide technical support for financial systems, SQL environments and integrations; assist with month/year end processing.
• Create and execute SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Act as administrator for Aderant Expert, iTimekeep and BillBlast to ensure system availability.
• Drive continuous improvement by gathering requirements and implementing changes.
• Analyse workflows to improve procedures for stakeholders.
