Job description

Overview

In April 2023, Nomad foods created a Shared Finance Centre responsible for RTR, PTP, OTC and FP&A activities for 24 legal entities across 15 countries.

We are now looking to optimise the centre and are undertaking a further period of transformation to ensure the structure is fit for future business success.We are looking at our handoff’s, processes and controls to ensure standardisation, efficiency and effectiveness. We are also looking to harness technology and maximise automation through systems for efficiency.

This role is designed to support the SFC transformation programme by helping embed a greater systems awareness and skillset within the department, whilst assisting and driving process improvement and standardisation across the SAP ECC and S4 Hana platforms. The role will entail aspects of end-user support, controls, training and solution development.

Knowledge and experience of SAP ECC FICO modules is essential to the role.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse and improve finance processes to support SFC transformation
  • Delivers action plans to support and train end-user community and maintain supporting materials for SAP ECC and related Finance Systems
  • Collaborates with Group Technology to ensure the successful on-going management of systems used by finance teams. Includes assisting incident triage and prioritisation, and assisting with resolution of incidents where Functional inputs are required.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: Identifying opportunities to simplify and standardise processes and procedures.
  • Supports strong Master Data governance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial systems with business operations and reporting needs.
  • Lead or support SAP-related projects
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial data flow across SAP and integrated systems (e.g., warehouse management, demand planning).
  • Provide end-user training and support, ensuring adoption of best practices
Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in using/ admin SAP ERP Tools (SAP ECC)
  • Experience working a centralised Finance Function
  • Experience of end-user support and training
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver information both orally and written.
  • An understanding of the internal control priorities (SOX) and ability to quantify, communicate and manage internal control risks
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an independent and professional manner with the ability to influence others.
  • Familiar with SAP ECC configuration concepts
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Familiarity with standard Excel reporting functions
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of finance processes
  • Ability to understand the requirements expressed by Finance Teams and translate them into functional/ training needs
  • Have an enquiring and questioning approach to work.
  • Pays attention to detail and sees things through to completion.
  • Meets deadlines
