Job summary

King & Spalding is seeking a Finance Systems Project Manager to lead the functional management of the Firm’s financial information systems, ensuring integrity, security, and efficient operation across finance modules. This role interfaces with Finance and IT to deliver compliant solutions that support decision making.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage projects through the SDLC, document requirements, and drive improvements in reporting using SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems.
• 7+ years of related experience and project leadership exposure.
• Strong MS Office skills, SQL/SSRS, Power BI, and data visualization.
• Ability to train new users and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the system development life cycle for finance systems.
• Define requirements with Finance, analyze needs, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Directors and end users to document project plans and processes.
• Test, modify, and repair software systems; develop test strategies.
• Act as liaison between Finance and Technology and vendors/consultants.
• Design ad hoc queries and financial reporting; ensure data integrity.
