Job summary

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Manager in London to oversee and optimize its global financial information systems. You will lead finance-system projects, coordinate between Finance and IT, and ensure robust data integrity and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Extensive law firm finance systems experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel VBA; experience with SQL (SSRS), Power BI, and relational databases.
• Experience with financial data systems and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through full SDLC ensuring deliverables meet business needs.
• Collaborate with Finance to define requirements and implement solutions.
• Develop and document project specifications and processes to streamline workflows.
• Update, test, and repair existing software systems and propose improvements.
• Provide analysis and documentation for system design and implementation.
• Develop and execute test strategies and tools.
• Oversee system modifications maintaining data integrity and audit trails.
• Act as liaison between Finance, Technology, and external vendors/consultants.
• Stay current with technologies that support financial operations.
