Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Systems Accountant to lead the finance workstream during a major financial systems migration. You will act as the Finance SME, collaborating with Finance, Technology and senior stakeholders to ensure migration, testing and go-live success.

Based in a city centre organisation undergoing change, you will drive data migration, process mapping and improved reporting, while supporting UAT, cutover and change management throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.
• Experience of finance system implementation, migration or upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of core accounting processes.
• Data migration, reconciliation and testing experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong stakeholder management capability.
• Desirable: MRI Financials and finance transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance systems migration workstream.
• Manage data migration, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and validation.
• Translate finance requirements into system processes and workflows.
• UAT, defect resolution, cutover and go-live support.
• Improve finance processes, reporting and MI.
• Support documentation, training and change management.
