Job summary

RD Financial Recruitment Limited in Woking invites applications for a Finance Systems Migration Accountant on a 1–2 month contract. The role focuses on migrating data to Sage Intacct across 20+ entities, with significant Excel and finance systems work. Hybrid with some WFH, ASAP start, and a busy, impactful project.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with strong Excel skills and prior exposure to accounting system migrations, including Sage Line 50, Xero or VT.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong Excel and finance systems skills.
• Exposure to accounting system implementation or migration is a plus.
• Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and/or VT a plus.
• Experience with data cleansing and reconciling financial data is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of financial data from Sage Line 50, Xero and VT into Sage Intacct.
• Work across 20+ companies/entities as part of the migration project.
• Review and standardise nominal ledgers and chart of accounts.
• Map existing codes into the new Sage Intacct structure.
• Perform data cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in data and migration issues.
• Assist with system testing and issue investigation.
• Collaborate with management accountants and external partner.
• Use Excel to analyse and reconcile data.
• Ensure data is accurate and ready for migration.
