FINANCE SYSTEMS LEAD DESCRIPTION

As a Finance Systems Lead, you will support Amdaris by driving the automation and optimisation of finance-related systems and processes across the organisation. This role plays a key part in enhancing operational performance, ensuring scalable solutions, and improving our ability to respond to complex business challenges. With broad visibility across the business, this is a strategic position with the opportunity for continued development and impact in a growing SaaS and outsourcing environment.

FINANCE SYSTEMS LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead internal project teams to deliver system integrations and application development aligned to business and finance goals
  • Act as Product Owner for Amdaris' internally developed expense management application
  • Lead the implementation and administration of off-the-shelf finance-supporting systems (e.g., travel booking, invoice scanning tools)
  • Support the work order to revenue process, including reviewing work orders, timesheet analysis, invoice creation, and other transactional finance operations
  • Line management of a Commercial Analyst, providing ongoing support, development, and oversight
  • Foster a culture of innovation by exploring opportunities for system automation and process improvement
  • Partner with business operations leads and the BI Manager to ensure development projects align with overall strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with Insight (parent company) to align and integrate financial systems and workflows between businesses
  • Perform analysis of revenue and forecasting, ensuring alignment with signed work orders and projections
  • Support finance-related month-end activities, including bonus calculations and revenue recognition

FINANCE SYSTEMS LEAD REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in Commercial, Financial or Data Support role
  • Experience reviewing and optimising processes
  • Experience implementing solutions into a finance department
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of finance processes and accounting fundamentals
  • Ability to develop strong relationships quickly, influence key stakeholders, work cross-functionally and autonomously.
  • Business analysis and agile project management experience
  • Ability of working effectively as part of a team, under pressure of deadlines with a strong team ethic, across departments as well as being a self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Motivated to be self-sufficient and inquisitive/questioning, keen to learn and develop
