Job Description

  • Lead the Oracle finance and HR systems implementation, ensuring that it aligns with organisational goals.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including resource, time, and cost considerations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document specific system requirements.
  • Manage relationships with vendors during the implementation process.
  • Conduct and oversee system testing, managing any changes or enhancements needed.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on the new finance systems.
  • Monitor the performance of the new system post-implementation, making any necessary adjustments.
  • Report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Systems Implementation Lead should have:

  • An accredited accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc)
  • Prior experience in implementing Oracle finance and HR systems, preferably within the university space
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software.
  • An aptitude for problem-solving and strategic thinking.
