Job summary

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking a Systems and Control Officer to join its finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers hybrid working with some office presence and a salary between £34,962 and £38,791 per year, up to £43,613 for exceptional candidates.

The post supports the Systems and Control Accountant, ensuring smooth system operations, maintaining financial controls and assisting users across the council’s financial systems, primarily Unit4 Agresso.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and supporting finance systems.
• Proficient with Unit4 Agresso and related modules.
• Knowledge of data governance and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the council's finance, procurement and income systems (Unit4 Agresso).
• Create and maintain master data (chart of accounts, cost centres, hierarchies, reporting).
• Run daily/weekly/monthly/yearly processes and reconcile data from interfaces.
• Produce standard and bespoke reports and deliver user training.
