An established industry player is looking for a skilled Workday Finance Systems Consultant/Accountant to enhance and maintain their Workday Financials system. This hybrid role involves collaborating with finance and technology teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday Financials and a solid grasp of accounting principles. We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Systems Consultnat/Accountant to support the optimisation, maintenance, and development of our Workday Financials system. This role is ideal for a systems-savvy finance professional with hands-on Workday Financials experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
You’ll work closely with both Finance and Technology teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of financial systems and processes. This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence in our London office 1–2 days per week.
Support and enhance the functionality of Workday Financials, including troubleshooting, testing, and configuration.
Partner with finance teams to streamline and automate processes through Workday capabilities.
Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT teams for system updates, integrations, and improvements.
Maintain system data integrity and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide support and training to end users on Workday functionality.
Assist in month-end close activities and reporting where needed.
Proven experience with Workday Financials and other finance systems.
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial processes.
Experience in a finance systems or finance transformation role.
Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and technical stakeholders.
Accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – desirable but not essential.
Proactive, analytical, and solution-focused approach.
