Overview

Location: Hybrid working – London 3 days per week

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual keen to join a growing and dynamic organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess strong system skills, have an understanding of how OneStream XF or similar financial consolidation systems operate, and be adept at handling data and reports. A key challenge of the role is the ability to swiftly grasp processes and Reporting methods to improve or rationalise them.

This position within the Group Finance team will focus on two main areas.

1. Leading the OneStream rebuild project to ensure the system delivers what the group requires and that the Finance teams can utilise it with relative ease.

2. The role will support the global Finance teams by developing better processes to streamline and accelerate the month-end close and forecasting cycles. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with subsidiary finance teams (both in the UK and overseas), the wider Group finance team, central departments, and the Shared Service Centre.

Our client offers flexibility regarding place of work; however, the successful candidate will be expected to attend the London office 3 days per week.

What will you be doing

• Lead the Systems project to rebuild OneStream XF, working closely with the heads of Group Finance and FP&A.
• Manage reconciliation processes as data is moved between cubes in OneStream and ultimately into a new application.
• Support subsidiary finance teams with reporting queries in OneStream. A high volume of support is anticipated during the transition to a new cube and subsequently a new application.
• Enhance and simplify month-end close procedures to reduce closing time.
• Refine budgeting and reporting processes, including the recording and reporting of headcount data.

What we are looking for

• MUST HAVE Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience.
• MUST HAVE Experience with OneStream XF or a similar financial consolidation system. (Oracle EPM, Hyperion HFM or FCCS, Tagetik, SAP BPC, SAP BFC, OneStream XF.)
• Understanding of how systems within the landscape such as Netsuite, Dynamics 365, Oracle Cloud, Workday… etc, integrate with OneStream.
• Ability to manage conflicting demands and prioritise effectively.
• Highly numerate and technically proficient in accounting systems and data manipulation. Capable of quickly understanding and training others on systems and processes.
• Thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast-changing environment. Able to develop pragmatic solutions when faced with time or data constraints.

I can’t express enough the importance to have demonstrable experience of working within a similar project previously, specifically a consolidation tool such as Oracle EPM, Hyperion HFM or FCCS, Tagetik, SAP BPC, SAP BFC, OneStream XF.
