Job summary

Data Careers Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Business Analyst to join a large, established organisation on an initial 3-month contract. The role focuses on systems integration, business process optimization and requirements gathering across Salesforce, NetSuite and related enterprise apps.

Working with Finance, IT and business stakeholders, you will translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring data flows and system interfaces meet finance requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on finance systems or ERP projects.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Understanding of billing, invoicing or order-to-cash processes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements for finance systems and integration projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT and Commercial teams to map current processes and identify improvements.
• Support integration of Salesforce, NetSuite and other enterprise applications.
• Produce functional specifications, user stories, data flow and process maps.
• Define integration requirements, data mapping and system interfaces with technical teams.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
• Support system testing, UAT and issue resolution.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Finance Systems Business Analyst - Salesforce / ERP Integration
Location: UK - Remote
3 Month Contract
Rate: £550 - £650 per day (Inside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Finance Systems Business Analyst to join a large, established organisation on an initial 3-month contract.

This role will support a programme of finance systems improvements, with a particular focus on systems integration, business process optimisation and requirements gathering across Salesforce, NetSuite and associated enterprise applications.

Working closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring systems integrate effectively and financial data flows accurately across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements for finance systems and integration projects.
• Work with stakeholders across Finance, IT and Commercial teams to understand existing processes and identify improvements.
• Support the integration of Salesforce, NetSuite and other enterprise applications.
• Produce functional specifications, user stories, process maps and data flow documentation.
• Work closely with technical teams to define integration requirements, data mapping and system interfaces.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data accuracy and reduce manual intervention.
• Support system testing, UAT and the resolution of technical and functional issues.
• Act as the key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on finance systems, ERP implementations or finance transformation projects.
• Strong experience gathering requirements and supporting systems integration projects.
• Good understanding of finance and accounting processes, ideally including billing, invoicing or order-to-cash.
• Experience working with Salesforce, NetSuite or similar CRM/ERP platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, data mapping, system interfaces and data flows.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively between Finance and technical teams.
• Experience producing business requirements, functional specifications and process documentation.
• Ability to work independently and deliver effectively within a short-term contract assignment.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience integrating Salesforce with NetSuite or other ERP platforms.
• Experience with CPQ, deal configuration or quote-to-cash processes.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL or financial reporting solutions.
• Experience supporting data migration, reconciliation and UAT.
