Edward Mann is recruiting on behalf of a high-growth business in the Staffordshire area. Our client is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join their team.

This role involves optimizing various business systems and data sources, extracting and manipulating data to generate efficient and meaningful reports. The position plays a key role in developing Management Information across the organization, focusing on maximizing the value of data and systems used.

Responsibilities include:

1. Improve the efficiency of key business reports and analytics output.
2. Create process maps for critical MI systems such as CRM, Operations Management, Finance and Purchasing, and Project Management systems.
3. Collaborate with management to identify business needs and recommend solutions.
4. Identify process weaknesses and develop data-driven solutions for improvement.
5. Bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions.
6. Work independently and with teams, including the Finance Reporting Analyst and IT, to enhance reporting outputs.
7. Provide cover for the Finance Reporting Analyst during holidays and absences.

We’re looking for a candidate who has:

• Experience in Financial Analysis.
• SQL proficiency.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Access, including macros (VBA experience is a bonus but not essential).
• Experience in process improvement, process mapping, and project support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
