~~Robert Walters – Finance Systems Analyst – Permanent – Hybrid – West Midlands – £60,000 to £70,000 per annum~~Robert Walters is recruiting on behalf of our client for a newly created Finance Systems Analyst position. This is a key hire as the business prepares to transition from SAP to a new ERP system. The role offers hybrid working and a unique opportunity to be at the centre of a major finance systems transformation. Location: West Midlands (Hybrid: 1-2 days in office) Position: Finance Systems Analyst Full-Time | Permanent Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 per annum

Key responsibilities of the Finance Systems Analyst:

1. Lead finance’s involvement in the ERP transition from SAP to a new system
2. Support system selection, implementation, and process mapping activities
3. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure system design meets business requirements
4. Develop and enhance automated reporting, controls, and workflows
5. Provide training and support to finance teams throughout the transition
6. Act as a subject matter expert for finance systems post-implementation

About you:

1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong finance systems experience
2. Hands-on experience with SAP and involvement in ERP change or transformation projects
3. Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting requirements
4. Comfortable working across finance and IT teams to deliver systems improvements
5. Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing change in a dynamic environment
