Stanton House is recruiting for an Interim Finance Systems Accountant - Fixed Asset Reconciliations & Projects to join a PE Backed Support Services Business in South-West England on a 10-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (pro-rata) and is hybrid, working 2-3 days per week in their offices (every other week) and the rest remotely.


Responsibilities:
  • Use accounting and Oracle expertise to resolve finance queries, especially around Fixed Assets and Projects.
  • Identify and improve training materials to upskill offshore teams.
  • Review end-to-end processes (system and non-system) and drive best practice improvements.
  • Spot and resolve process gaps in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Deliver training across global stakeholders using various formats.
  • Escalate issues, complexities, or exceptions promptly.
  • Act as a proactive project advocate.
  • Support with additional tasks as needed.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong background in accounting, particularly Fixed Assets and Project accounting.
  • In-depth Oracle systems knowledge.
  • Clear communicator, confident with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinker who simplifies complexity and drives data-led solutions.
  • Tech-savvy with advanced Excel and ticketing systems knowledge.
  • Passionate about driving change in Finance.
