Job summary

Certitude is seeking a Finance Officer in Balham for a hybrid role, combining home and office work within the Finance department. The role focuses on purchase ledger processing and reconciliations, with additional duties across finance tasks as required.

Salary £30,000 per annum, hours 37.5 per week, permanent full-time. Benefits include 25 days' leave plus bank holidays with pension, 24-hour Employee Assistance, Enhanced DBS, eye care vouchers, and salary sacrifice schemes such as travel/cycle

Qualifications

Experience in finance transaction processing.
Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Strong Maths and English skills.
Experience with finance software.
Ability to prioritise and manage time.

Responsibilities

Monitor purchase ledger inboxes, process invoices and payment requests accurately, and ensure timely ledger entry.
Log invoices in the finance system, route them to the correct budget holders, and follow up on outstanding approvals.
Investigate and resolve rejected invoices, aged creditor balances, supplier statement discrepancies, and payment-related queries.
Prepare bi-monthly payment runs and distribute supplier remittances after payments are processed.
