We are looking for a Finance Support Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract who can join us in carrying out the following responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service from the start of the customer’s contract throughout its duration, up to termination.
  • Supporting customers and frontline teams with technical support related to processes and queries.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed within SLA’s and to a high level of accuracy.

This role is based in our Bristol office (BS16 7L B) with a requirement to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week. The start time is between 8am and 9am, and the end time is between 4pm and 5pm, as agreed with the hiring manager.

Key Accountabilities of the Role
  • Processing in-life and end of contract amendments to a high standard within SLA.
  • Ensuring delivery of agreed Finance Support KPIs.
  • Assisting the team leader with new process implementation and suggesting improvements.
  • Identifying anomalies in customer requests indicating process issues.
  • Handling customer complaints to ensure positive outcomes and using feedback for coaching and process improvements.
  • Developing knowledge of products, processes, and systems.
  • Ensuring compliance training is completed, documentation is up-to-date, and procedures are followed.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service role.
  • Ability to empathize with customers and communicate effectively.
  • Self-motivated with initiative to manage customer queries independently.
