Job summary

Red Bull Powertrains invites undergraduates to join the Finance team in Milton Keynes for a 1-year placement, starting Summer 2027. You will contribute to Month End Close, budgeting, rolling forecasts and reporting while learning our processes and driving efficiencies within a busy Management Accounting environment.

You’ll be organised, diligent and proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with a basic understanding of financial reporting and a finance degree in progress.

Red Bull Powertrains are looking for an undergraduate to join our Finance team based in Milton Keynes giving you the opportunity to contribute to our success story.

This yearlong placement will serve as an excellent introduction to your career as an Assistant Finance Business Partner, working in a Management Accounting environment within the Finance team that supports the innovative and high-energy Red Bull Powertrains department.
An interest in motorsport, including engineering, business development, and Formula 1, would be great for this role.

You will be given the time to learn about our processes & workstreams within the department, and then given the chance to improve our processes by contributing your ideas and implementing them. As part of your role, you will support the following activities:

• Month End Close
• Weekly Purchase Order reporting
• Budgeting
• Rolling Forecasts
• Identifying and documenting process efficiencies
• Financial master data maintenance
• Presenting reports to the Finance Business Partners
• Preparation of ad-hoc management information and supporting on projects

Our ideal candidate would already have a basic understanding of financial reporting and is currently studying a relevant financial degree.

You will be organised, diligent and methodical, as well as being a proficient user on Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

The placement will be for 1 year, starting in the summer of 2027.
