Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED in Enstone is offering a Finance Student Placement for a 12-month period beginning July 2027. You will work closely with the Finance team across accounting, reporting, and analysis, gaining exposure to Formula One financial operations.

You will assist with financial reporting, budget monitoring, and process improvements while developing your analytical and Excel skills in a fast-paced racing environment. The placement is based on-site in Enstone, UK.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting in the penultimate year.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with ability to present data clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, analysis, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity in finance systems.
• Assist with purchase invoice processing, supplier payments, and expense management.
• Support budget monitoring and cost analysis across departments.
• Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial support and insights.
• Participate in departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

During the placement,you'llsupport the Finance team across a variety of accounting, reporting, and analysis activities. Working alongside experienced finance professionals,you'llgain exposure to financial operations within Formula One, helping to ensureaccuratereporting, effective budget management, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Who We're Looking For

• Currently studying a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Accounting & Finance, or a related discipline and seeking an industry placement during your penultimate year of university

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively

• Excellent attention to detail anda high levelof accuracy

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve

• An interest in financial analysis, accounting principles, business performance, and commercial decision-making

• You must have the right to work in the UK, as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
