Job summary

Arup in London is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead the end-to-end testing strategy for a major Finance Strategic Transformation Programme implementing Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM. You will govern SIT, UAT, data migration, and go-live readiness, coordinating across Finance, Tech, Change, Data, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless delivery.

• Proven experience leading testing within large-scale Finance transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/EPM testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, integrations, data migration, security, controls, and go-live readiness.
• Experience developing test strategies, plans, defect management processes, and readiness reporting.

• Develop and lead the programme-wide testing strategy across Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM.

• Drive defect management, triage, resolution, and reporting to ensure issues are addressed.
• Partner with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and implementation partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage and readiness.
• Provide clear reporting, quality metrics, and evidence-based recommendations for governance and go/no-go decisions.
• Establish robust testing controls, documentation, and governance processes that promote quality and auditability.

The Opportunity

Arup's Finance Strategic Transformation Programme is delivering a major global change initiative that will transform finance capabilities through the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM. By creating a modern, cloud-based finance platform, we will enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and deliver a better user experience across our global business.

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead the end-to-end testing strategy and execution for this high-profile transformation programme. Working with Finance, Technology, Change, Data, and Delivery teams, you will ensure the successful planning, governance, and delivery of all testing activities, supporting key readiness decisions through to go-live.

What You'll Do

• Develop and lead the programme-wide testing strategy across Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM.
  Manage testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, cutover rehearsals, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate test planning, environments, data, resources, and execution activities across multiple workstreams.
• Drive defect management, triage, resolution, and reporting to ensure issues are effectively addressed.
• Partner with business stakeholders, functional and technical teams, and implementation partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage and business readiness.
• Provide clear reporting, quality metrics, and evidence-based recommendations to support governance and go/no-go decisions.
• Establish robust testing controls, documentation, and governance processes that promote quality, traceability, and auditability.

Is this role right for you?

• Proven experience leading testing within large-scale Finance transformation programmes.
  Strong knowledge of ERP/EPM testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, integrations, data migration, security, controls, and go-live readiness.
• Experience developing test strategies, plans, defect management processes, and readiness reporting.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder groups across business and technology functions.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and programme coordination skills.
• Experience delivering testing for Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle EPM implementations.
• Understanding of Finance processes including Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Projects, Assets, Tax, Planning, and Reporting.
• Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking, and business-led UAT approaches.
