Job summary

CATL in London is seeking a finance professional to lead tax compliance, accounting close, and budget forecasting. The role involves coordinating month-end processes, supporting external audits, and driving financial improvements across the organization.

You will review expenses, manage fixed assets, and collaborate with IT for system optimization. Strong English, relevant experience, and cross-functional communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5+ years in finance or accounting.
• Familiar with local fiscal & tax systems, GAAP and IFRS; China GAAP preferred.
• Excellent English; local language and Chinese preferred.
• Strong communication, responsibility, and quick learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance and accounting close; ensure month-end closing on time.
• Oversee expenses review, payment approvals, and discrepancy resolution.
• Prepare PL and CF budgets/forecasts; participate in company-wide financial projects.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and inventories; support IT system optimization.
• Assist external audits and provide data for audits.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

• Responsible for tax compliance.
• In charge of accounting and disclosure, responsible for month-end closing in time, assist with external audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies and etc.
• Expenses review and analysis and payment approval process.
• Responsible for PL and CF budget / forecast preparation and management.
• Actively participate in financial projects and company-wide initiatives.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and inventory stock take.
• Collaborate with IT to complete system optimization.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor above, at least 5 years working experience in finance or accounting department;
• Must familiar with local Fiscal & Tax system and local practice, with local GAAP and IFRS , familiar with China GAAP is preferred;
• Excellent English is must, local language and Chinese will be preferred;
• Have excellent communication skills, high sense of responsibility, strong learning ability and constantly improve working ability.
