Team Creation Limited is seeking a Finance Manager - Cost Control & Budgeting to oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance across the group. You will lead the annual budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts and cost analysis, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

The role requires 5+ years in finance, consolidation and multi-currency experience, and strong stakeholder management. Based in London with occasional travel; comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, or group finance roles.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Occasional travel to Group offices as required.
• Experience working in multi-entity, multi-currency group environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with senior management, banks and advisers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive with strong ownership and accountability.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast; highlight variances and cost drivers.
• Prepare regular management reports and financial analysis for senior management.
• Monitor operating and capital expenditure against approved budgets.
• Review significant costs, spending requests and budget assumptions.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement and better resource use.
• Collaborate with business and finance teams to improve budget ownership and cost accountability.
• Prepare financial analyses and business cases to support major spending and investment decisions.
• Maintain budgeting, cost control and financial reporting processes across the Group.

Role Overview:

The Finance Manager - Cost Control & Budgeting is responsible for overseeing the group's budgeting, cost control and financial performance management activities across all entities. The role provides group-level oversight of the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, cost performance and expenditure controls.
