Salary: £23,942.69 - £25,420.86 per year

Job Description

PAY AWARD PENDING.

This is a part-time position, and the salary will be pro-rata'd based on hours worked.

We have an attractive opportunity for a permanent Finance Service Centre Assistant to support the Finance Service Centre Team. This role will ensure key performance areas, including customer service and delivery targets across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the Non-Domestic Rates service, are met.

The role involves assisting in the ongoing development and improvement of transactional finance processes to deliver efficient, value-for-money services aligned with the Council's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will support billing and collection of Council services using our central finance system.

Requirements

The preferred candidate must complete a Level 1 Disclosure check before a formal offer is made by West Dunbartonshire Council.

Responsibilities

The employment is exempt from section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants are not required to disclose spent convictions, but failure to do so could lead to dismissal or disciplinary action if employed.
