Job Description

BUSINESS UNIT: CF&O Shared Services (CFOSS) aims to centralize platforms, services, and expertise across divisions to improve efficiency and standardization. Core priorities include:

  1. Ensuring data quality, accountability, and lineage.
  2. Developing unified data models to meet regulatory and risk management requirements.
  3. Advancing Cloud and Core Engineering solutions.
  4. Supporting analytic calculations and data transformations.
  5. Automating workflows for financial metrics and limits management.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

This role is suited for a professional passionate about digital transformation, operational efficiency, automation, and scalable application development. Experience with data warehousing, analytics, and machine learning is advantageous due to the focus on data and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with exposure to all finance areas.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners.
  • Analyze business needs and develop process workflows, data requirements, and specifications.
  • Create technical specifications, design, testing, and implementation plans.
  • Manage the entire systems development lifecycle.
  • Explore emerging technologies as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience, with understanding of data structures, algorithms, and programming fundamentals.
  • Ability to multitask, manage stakeholders, and work globally.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go.
  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer with React.
  • Knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases and database design.
  • Experience with frameworks like SpringBoot, DropWizard, Maven, and RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with ORM frameworks like Hibernate and SpringJPA.
  • Experience with ML/Data Science/AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment.
  • Comfort working with large codebases and solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
