Team/Role Overview

The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is a senior professional responsible for generating, analyzing, and submitting reports to various stakeholders based on requirements such as US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, US/UK Regulatory requirements, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The role applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to strategic direction.

What you’ll do

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc., based on US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at each period's end, along with Legal Entity Manager responsibilities.
  • Implement operational discipline into existing team processes.
  • Collaborate with management on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations by analyzing subject matter and its application within the role and business context.
  • Assess and support the implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of related product reporting and analytics, utilizing knowledge of systems and process flows to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and escalating control issues transparently.
  • Oversee the local financial statement preparation process out of the Budapest CSC.

What we’ll need from you

  • Experience in Financial Services preferred.
  • Experience in local regulatory or financial reporting preparation and oversight.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines and unexpected changes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
