Description

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and in-year financial reporting across core service areas.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, providing analysis and challenge on financial performance.
  • Deliver cost-focused financial projects, including efficiency reviews, cost base analysis, and resource reallocation initiatives.
  • Support modelling for tenders, re-tenders, and new business opportunities.
  • Lead on cost centre and P&L reviews, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and monitored.
  • Support implementation of new services, ensuring cost considerations are built into delivery models.
  • Promote financial understanding across operational teams, aligning resources with strategic priorities.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years' experience.
  • Strong track record in business partnering and cost management.
  • Experienced in leading cost-efficiency or value-for-money projects.
  • Analytical, commercially minded, and confident influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and aligned with the organisation's mission and values.
