Job summary

MCS Group are partnering with a leading public sector organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Portfolio Office Support - Finance professional. The role involves managing finance, procurement, payroll support, and producing financial reports across ICT programmes and projects for health and social care.

You will analyse expenditure, support budget management, maintain financial systems and work with a range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A university degree or professional qualification with relevant payroll/finance experience.
• HNC/HND or higher qualification with 2+ years' payroll/finance experience.
• At least four years' payroll or finance experience in a programme or project context.
• Experience providing or supporting programmes and projects in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day finance, resource, purchasing and procurement activities.
• Analyse financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for key stakeholders.
• Reconcile and review financial reports and support accurate management accounts.
• Support year-end accruals and budgeting processes.
• Analyse expenditure and support asset registers, salary models and workforce planning.
• Maintain financial, purchasing, contract, salary and workforce systems.
• Support the recharging of services and provide financial information to relevant teams.
• Assist with monitoring and review of contracts and SLAs to ensure value for money.
• Support Portfolio Office processes, templates and standards.
