Title: Finance Platform Lead

Location: Bristol (Hybrid 2-3 days)

Contract Type: 6-month FTC with extensions

Salary: Competitive

We’re looking for a confident and forward-thinking Finance Platform Lead to take the reins of a critical digital platform at scale. In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking, technical depth, and leadership to make a real impact across a business that supports thousands of people every day.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of around eight Finance Analysts, fostering a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing environment.
• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Oracle Fusion Finance Platform.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape platform priorities and deliver measurable value across the business.
• Oversee the implementation of both large-scale and incremental system improvements.
• Own the full platform lifecycle from development and optimization through to end-user support and performance reporting.
• Champion user-centricity, using data and insights to guide decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with platform partners like Oracle to maximize value and knowledge sharing.
• Stay ahead of finance technology trends, bringing innovation and fresh thinking into our platform and processes.

Desirable Knowledge and/or skills:

• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Systems (especially Finance, P2P, and Workflow modules).
• Strong technical expertise in Oracle Fusion (preferably R12) and associated development tools.
• Confident in leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and ensuring audit compliance.
• A strategic mindset with hands-on experience delivering complex digital or finance transformation projects.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex challenges into scalable technology solutions.
• Excellent communicator, influencer, and collaborator, able to win trust and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with third-party SaaS suppliers to achieve results.
• Data-driven with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
