Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd is offering a Purchase Ledger Assistant undergraduate placement in Burton on Trent, UK. The role supports the Accounts Payable team, processing invoices, reconciliations, and month-end tasks while building relationships with suppliers.

The placement seeks candidates studying Accounting/Finance with strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail, planning ability, and adaptability. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an Accounting / Finance related degree.
• Good IT skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Good planning and organisational skills.

• Able to build and maintain strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payment runs in line with procedures and deadlines.
• Resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, payment and account-related issues.
• Liaise with internal departments to obtain information or approvals.
• Maintain accurate supplier account records.
