Job summary

City St George's, University of London is seeking a finance professional to deliver financial performance in partnership with the School in line with the University Financial Plan. You will influence decision-making, drive change and foster collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.

The role focuses on budget management, forecasting, year-end delivery, and training budget holders, with robust controls, value for money and governance as core pillars.

Qualifications

• Degree educated (or equivalent) with significant accounting expertise.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Qualified accountant status and post-qualification experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial performance in partnership with the School in line with the University Financial Plan.
• Influence decision-making, drive change and foster collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis including staffing, student numbers, Programme profitability and business cases.
• Ensure robust controls, compliance and value for money with continuous process improvement.
