Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited in Derby seeks a Finance Business Partner to support senior leaders in strategic and operational decision making, ensuring P&L delivery and robust cost control.

You will produce weekly and monthly performance reporting, develop KPIs, and provide variance analysis to assist decision makers. The role requires a qualified accountant with strong stakeholder management and Excel/Power BI skills, in a hybrid Derby setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong business partnering experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate weekly and monthly performance reporting with focus on revenue and cost control.
• Deliver variance analysis with insightful commentary on workstream performance.
• Develop and maintain operational KPIs and volume drivers for revenue and cost management.
• Support the preparation, review and challenge of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Lead ad hoc financial reviews, analyses, and investigations into risks and opportunities.
• Recommend enhancements to financial reporting, governance and control processes.
