Job summary

Sovereign Network Group is seeking a Finance Business Partner on a 14-month fixed-term contract to lead financial reporting for building safety. Based from our offices in Wembley or Basingstoke, the role blends office and home working to support work-life balance.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Business Partnering, you will deliver robust analysis, link financial reports to business strategy, and prepare budgets and monthly forecasts for SNG, while guiding a team of management accountants.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in business partnering
• Strong practical experience in management accounting, forecasting and budgeting
• Ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting for building safety and provide insights for regulatory requirements
• Produce analysis and commentary for annual budget and monthly forecasts
• Guide the management accounting team to deliver high-quality services to stakeholders
• Collaborate with budget holders to understand spend and opportunities for optimisation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building safety legislation and accounting changes
