Bulk™ in Colchester, UK, is hiring a Finance Operations Supervisor to lead four Accounts Assistants and manage the day-to-day transactional finance functions. You will oversee purchase and sales ledgers, banking and cash management, ensuring accurate postings and timely month-end cierre.

The role requires AAT Level 3+ or equivalent, 3+ years in finance operations, and a proactive, ownership-focused attitude. Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 3 or above.
• Experience supervising a small finance team.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounts or finance operations role.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and develop others.
• A proactive approach with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to four Accounts Assistants.
• Monitor AP/AR tasks and deadlines; review postings for accuracy.
• Coach and develop team; conduct appraisals and manage absences.
• Oversee purchase and sales ledgers; monthly ledger reviews.
• Review KPIs; escalate risks to Finance Operations Manager.
• Manage treasury tasks; support ad hoc payments and cash forecasting.
• Own weekly cash forecast and monthly reporting; maintain controls.
