Job summary

The Christie Charity is seeking an Assistant Finance and Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day transactional processing within the finance team. You will coordinate payments, reconciliations and banking while upholding strong financial controls across the charity group.

You will work closely with the Finance Officers and senior finance colleagues to ensure accurate, timely processing and to identify process improvements.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day transactional processing experience including purchase-to-pay, supplier payments, accounts receivable, banking, income reconciliation, corporate credit cards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day transactional activity undertaken by Finance Officers.
• Review reconciliations and outstanding items to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Support and guide Finance Officers on issues; act as escalation point for transactional matters.
• Ensure systems (finance and purchase-to-pay) are used consistently and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller and Funds and Finance Business Partner to improve processes.
